Magic show · Aachen
In the heart of the Kaiserstadt, inside the Kapuziner Karree, stands a black table. At it, on more than 240 evenings a year, something happens that locals and visitors from across the tri-border region still cannot explain.
What to expect
Black Table – Magic Theater is Aachen's home for close-up magic and mentalism. Christian Jedinat doesn't perform on some distant stage — he works in your hands, right among the guests.
Five resident programmes plus specials and guest artists: from the after-work format to the full 120-minute show, there's something on every week.
Live & real
On television anything goes — a cut, a second take, an app. Live, none of that is possible. What happens here happens in real time, within your reach, with no camera in between. That's why it stays with you.
The programme
Aachen & the Black Table
Proof that you don't have to drive to Cologne for a great night out. Bus to Bushof or Elisenbrunnen, and you're there.
The cathedral in the afternoon, Printen in between, wonder in the evening: the theatre is a short walk from the old town — the ideal finish to a city break.
From Belgium and the Netherlands it's just minutes away: the tri-border region has a shared living room of astonishment.
„Werde wiederkommen !!!“
