You may come as close as you like. That’s exactly the mistake.

Close-up magic
Close-up magic is the supreme discipline: it happens thirty centimetres from your eyes — in your hands, with your ring, under your gaze. That is why there is no way out. It really happened.
What it is
On television it could be a cut. On a big stage, a mirror. But when the coin vanishes inside your fist, the mind runs out of excuses. What remains is the rarest feeling in the world: honest, grown-up wonder.
That is exactly why you sit here at arm's length — close enough that nothing can fit between you and the impossible.
The tools
Decades of practice, distilled into moments that look like effortlessness. Come as close as you like — it won't help you one bit.
The borrowed ring, the signed banknote, the card with your name on it: close-up doesn't happen in front of you, but with you.
The magic here comes with a wink. There is plenty of laughter — usually a second before every jaw in the room drops.
„To this day I can’t work out how it’s all done.“
Where you'll experience it
Good to know
Yes — the room is built around the black table, and no seat is more than about four metres away. There is no bad seat, only different angles on the same impossible thing.
Only if you want to. Raise your hand and you might soon be holding a miracle in it — prefer to watch, and you still see everything.
Sceptics are our favourite audience. The harder you look, the more beautiful the moment when logic gives up.
On stage you look on. In close-up you are part of it: it happens in your hands, at arm's length — no distance, no false bottoms, no camera.
Often sold out — the best proof that closeness is no drawback.
