Frequently asked questions about close-up magic
Will I see everything from every seat?
Yes — the room is built around the black table, and no seat is more than about four metres away. There is no bad seat, only different angles on the same impossible thing.
Do I have to take part?
Only if you want to. Raise your hand and you might soon be holding a miracle in it — prefer to watch, and you still see everything.
Is close-up magic something for sceptics?
Sceptics are our favourite audience. The harder you look, the more beautiful the moment when logic gives up.
How is this different from a stage show?
On stage you look on. In close-up you are part of it: it happens in your hands, at arm's length — no distance, no false bottoms, no camera.
