Where I love to eat
The brothers Heinz-Peter & Franz-Dieter Ramrath – I've shared a stage with them – are the ones who brought me to Am Knipp. This is where I come to sit with colleagues and swap thoughts in peace: outstanding food that clears the mind.

Top service, a strong menu and a wonderful terrace right in the middle of town. The kitchen is excellent and keeps things varied – one of my favourite spots to simply sit outside.

Mediterranean cooking with a Croatian accent, right on Theaterplatz. Danijela and Robert Gogić have run their restaurant since 2017 exactly the way you would wish for as a guest: a menu that follows the seasons rather than the other way round, fish from Croatia, meat from the Eifel. First-time guests order the starter for two. Regulars order it anyway.

Coffee & cake
The cake here is so good that I simply couldn't keep it from my guests – and so our collaboration „Süße Magie" was born. Indulgence in full … which, honestly, you feel later in the pounds too. A price gladly paid.

Where I clear my head
In the summer months, this is where I'm drawn. Walking up top, the view across the border of three countries towards the tower, the wide horizon – this is where I let my thoughts and my creativity run free. So much of what later happens on stage begins in moments exactly like these.
